Monthly Gatherings:
A great opportunity to rekindle your Emmaus fire! This is an informal time of fellowship, corporate prayer, Communion and worship. Every third Saturday of every month, Legacy Christian Church in Harrison has community gatherings. The pitch-in dinner starts at 6:00 p.m. and the meetings start at 7:00 p.m. Please bring a dish to share and your own tableware.

Let Us Know About Reunion Groups
One of the strongest ways to get new Community members involved following their Walks and Flights is for them to start immediately with a reunion group. Board member Teri Nielsen is charged helping new Community members with the transition into our Community by sharing information about existing reunion groups. If your reunion group has room for more members, please let Teri know by contacting her at (812) 637-1936 or e-mail.

How can you get more involved in your Emmaus Community?
Financial support:
Because many in our Community have indicated a desire to receive a printed, mailed version of the quarterly newsletter, we need additional operating funds. It costs approximately $850 to print and mail the +1,600 newsletters — if you're able, please prayerfully consider sending a donation to help offset these costs and the general expenses the Community incurs. Such an investment ensures our continued ability to communicate with all Community members in a regular, convenient manner. Just send your check to the post office box, marking it for "Community operations."
Willing Servant form:
Ready to share your Emmaus experience with new pilgrims by serving on the team for a Walk or Flight? The best way to ensure you're considered for this special type of service is by completing a Willing Servant form annually as the team selection committee uses these forms as a foundation for compiling teams. There are plenty of ways to serve on a team — from the support workers in the kitchen and with agape to in-conference room workers; also, off-site help is always needed! Just go to the "Willing Servant" page, fill out the form, and follow the directions to submit.
